Inspired by Bob Ross, Keith Haring, Andy Warhol, Richard Ripple, M.C. Escher, Denny Dent, Jo Ellen Hoffman, Romero Britto, Wayne WhiteKristen Johnson, and Rex Ray, Andrew creates large-format oil paintings featuring his unique “guitar chord window” concept. His paintings depict chord voicings from favorite songs written by guitar players he admires.

Andrew derived the idea for his guitar chord windows from the standard guitar chord diagram, which he feels looks like a multi-pane window. When he plays certain chord voicings on the guitar, his imagination peers through those windows to discover new people, places, things, and ideas in the sonic-emotional landscape beyond the visible realm.

Each oil painting is available as it was first created, on 36″ x 36″ (or larger) gallery-profile canvas. If a particular painting is not available to buy, you can still get a giclée print thereof. The prints are made with special high-quality ink and paper that will last forever and won’t change color from light; they look just like the original paintings, with all the colors and details faithfully reproduced. (This applies to all of Andrew’s paintings, even ones that aren’t for sale or have already been sold.)
